Mansi's Razor

You are influenced by it. The more you're trying to deny it, the more it has its grip on you.

Status.

You are constantly comparing yourself to others. Sometimes, you're judging yourself.

There is no society without status.

So when you ask yourself what to visit, what to read, where to travel, and what to eat, consider the following heuristic:

Would you still do it, if you couldn't post it on social media?

Would you still do it, if you couldn't tell your friends about it?

This is Mansi's Razor. She had the insight of identifying what is important to some people: social media.

Cutting all the pointless things you only do to impress others will show you what you actually desire.

Of course, it's just a tool.

Sometimes, doing things for status, is fun.

This tool is meant to show you your decisions in plain sight.

What you do with it, is up to you.

Where have you failed to apply Mansi's Razor? Where have you chased status for no apparent reason?
